Ujiro had heard a rumor reguarding the promotion of shinobi from all over the village to boost the villages military strength after the invasion, Ujiro was unaware of any names but had heard of a genin being promoted to a very rank but was unsure who it could have been. He knew the mist had very skilled genin but to jump that high in such a short amount of time was something to behold, he thought about possibile candidates from his class but couldnt really think of any as he was a bit of a loner in school. Ujiro had recieved his orders earlier that day and was ordered to assist some families find shelter in the undamaged part of town while there homes were built or fixed. In his file he was given a few possible location to check around and a list of the family numbers he needed to find for, the list was small which indicated that many people were going to be on this one. The young genin glanced over his lists a few times and thought back to the last time the village was in this type of condition and remembered that the last time these places were completely over flooded with refugees and had very little room for extras and that incedent was no were near as bad as this crisis. Ujiro thought a while as he passed by many civilians as most were hitting up the shops on the streets trying to get back to some degree of normal life despite the losses many had faced.

Ujiro had remembered his childhood in the slums of the villages west district, it was one of the toughest areas to live in because of the gangs and the fact that it was mainly the poor that resided their so police and such rarely came around. It was governed by which ever street gang was strongest at the time, Ujiro thought about the monk thta had given him shelter when he was young and how the temple would take them. Ujiro jumped on to a nearby roof and dashed at pretty good speed toward the western district in hopes of asking the mon for help once again, Ujiro scanned the areas as he blazed pass them looking at all the consruction taking place and how the areas that were not hit seemed to be going about there day as if nothing ahd happened. The morale and appearance of each district compared to the other was alomost night and day, but he knew things would get better but not without alot of work. For now though all he could really do was complete his missions in the hopes that that would be enough to help things get moving in the right direction until this new Mizukage could get things really going, Ujiro was about half way there when he began noticing the numerous amount of homeless and beggers littering the streets and alleyways. Not much has changed I see, Its been a while and this place is still neglected by the rest of the village. My home away from home... Ujiro thought to himself but was interrupted by the sound of a scream coming from below.

The shinobi noticed a women being mugged by two men in an alley just below him, the shinobi quickly changed directions and surprised one of the men with a swift chop to the back of the neck knocking him down instantly but as he was about to strike the second man the mugger turned to see him and thats when he noticed his face. It was one of the people that ran with him in his childhood gang, It had been sometime but he still looked the same. The mugger noticed the headband under Ujiro's hair and freaked but he didnt recongnize ujiro, but even if he had been an ally in the past it did not excuse what he was doing. Attacking a women was against his gangs rules long ago and used his speed to strike the man in the face knocking him out quickly, the women grabbed her things quickly and thanked him before vanishing quickly into the crowds of people. Ujiro stared down at the man for a few moments and remembered his childhood comrade and wondered what had happened that made him forget the code he had instilled in all those that he ran with but that was another life and things change. Ujiro reached into his pocket and pulled out some money, tucking it into the mans torn clothes so that when he woke up he would be able to buy a little food and hopefully not have to pick on women or anyone for that matter. The genin grabbed both men and sat them leand against the wall of the alley before jumping back up to the rooftop to continue his mission to the temple.

Ujiro arrived at the temple gates shortly after leaving the two muggers and noticed the monks leaving the temple with baskets of food for the poor, He remebered doing tasks like that as a child to pay back the kindness the monks had showed him when he first arrived in the village. The monks passed right by him bowing there heads as some smiled at him once they recognized who he was and ujiro bowed back at them as they passed him by, He had many good memories with the monks and with there help he was able to deal with many of the bad ones from before his life in the village. The pain from his life had messed with him greatly and was not the nicest of children when he arrived but with patients they were able to heal his wounds to a degree, Ujiro lifted his head and made his way into the temple in the hopes of finding the old monk that had raised him. The genin passed the first set of temple arches entering a mini plaza laid completely with white stones, the inner walls were covered a thick moss with very beautiful pick flowers growing on them. The plaza was filled with many young monks training with a few older instructors teaching them the proper forms, Ujiro smiled as he recalled his time training in the monk arts and how difficult it was at first but he valued every second of it greatly as it helped him become stronger physically and metally.

Ujiro continued down toward the main temple toward the back of he walled temple, as he got closer he noticed all the old statues that were scattered everywhere along with even bigger ones which were known as the guardian spirts of the temple, they were massive oni like images but they were actually depictions of the anicient warrior monks of old who would dress up as such to intimidate there foes and keep the temple safe. In this section of the temple you primarily saw monks in meditation, he was now in sight of the massive central temple structure where the sound of prayers could be heard echoing from the redwood building. It was massive in size and was very thick in its base because in times of war the villagers would flock here for protection and so the walls were strong enough to prevent attacks for days, Ujiro knew a great deal about the temple and its past. It seemed that all those years of having knowledge pounded into his head stuck, he soon noticed a giant of a man wearing master monk robes standing at the top of the step leading into the main temple. Ujiro walked calmly to the base of the steps and kneeled before the monk with his head down Hello again, sensei.. Its been a while, I have a request. The massive figure moved closer to him slowly walking down the steps toward Ujiro, So you come back after all this time and want something of this temple.. you have some nerve. the mans deep voice sounding very harsh as Ujiro clinched his fists as he glanced up to see the man right infront of him stroking his long beard.

The monk looked down at the bowing boy and smiled Its been a long time Little Uji, It seems you havent been drinking your milk because your the same size as when you left us LOL. the monks laughter echoing throughout the whole plaza. The vein in Ujiro's forhead popped out as he rose up quickly I told you not to call me that OLD MAN! Im still growing.Ujiro's face was a little red as he didnt like being called short, but after he regained his composure as he realized he was acting like a child and was instantly reminded of his first time at the temple. The preist was very tall and thus everyone was small compared to him but Ujiro was rather samll for his age and thus the head monk would make fun of him constantly, the monk continued his laughter even after ujiro's response Ah my boy it seems that you have changed at all, still so emotional HAHAHA. We've missed our little Uji. the monk said in a sincere tone as he looked at the young man like a father looked at his son. Ujiro blushed a little and turned away Me too, Master Ginjo. The monk looked around watching his disciples hard at work while Ujiro noticed that his teacher had many more stress lines on his face from the last time he was here, he looked very tired and worn out.

Ujiro waited for the man to snap outa his train of thought as he didnt want to be rude but as he looked closer he noticed that the man was not breathing, Ujiro freaked and yelled out master!! as he rushed to check on the old monk but as he went to check his pulse the monk whispered Sike and laughed once again. Ujiro turned his head and thought to himself damn old man, he's still doing that...and even after all this time I still fall for it. He was about to scold the monk but was interrupted by the monk as he broughht up the request. Ujiro began to explain the situation that had affected certain parts of the village and how he was looking for safe places to place some of the villagers that had lost therre homes atleast until there homes can be fixed or a new location can be found for them. The monk stroked his beard once again with a very serious look on his face as Ujiro awaited his response he saw the monk turn his back and begin walking up the steps, he then gave a signal telling Ujiro to follow him up. They entered the temple and ujiro was shocked to see the temple full of people, some wounded other sick and many monks rushing around taking care of them all as best they could but there were so many as this massive room was near full capacity. The monk said with a said voice Im not sure we have the space or resources to accomodate more people, im sorry my boy. Ujiro put his head down and asked if there were any other places around that had space but the monks said that the village councils had already issued orders asking the temples to assist and we have, even this slum was being used to help.

Ujiro thanked the monk for his time and wished him well but as he was heading down the stairs he was stopped by the old monks giant hand on his head, Ujiro I will do what I can to assist, how many people were you thinking of bring here? Ujiro replied 10 total familes of three or so the monk thought about it for a while and nodded his head you can bring them but I wont be able to help all of them. Ujiro smiiled thanks,its ok ill take a few of them home with me if needed..im barely there anyway.Ujiro bowed his head before heading down the stairs once again. He looked back when he heard the monks voice againcome visit us more often Little Uji, youll always have a home here..remember that Ujiro turned once again and bowed before heading off again, the normally cool genin shed a single tear as he walked away. He wiped it off before he arrived at a more populated part of the temple as he headed out, he redioed headquarters letting them know that the monk in the western district would take his list of civilians while these two families would be staying at his home for the time being. The man on the mic said "ok " before clicking off, the genin exited the temple and looked back one more time as the memories flooded back quickly. He closed his eyes and jumped on the rooftop next to the gate, he opened his eyes and thats when he buried the emotions once again. His usual straight face expression took over as he dashed off toward his own home before the civilians arrived so that he could set them up.
