Walking down the streets of Kumo, Navi thinks of the past few days, and wonders how her family in Kirigakure were faring. Yuuki hadn't written to her for a while, and wondered if there was anything wrong. She was visiting the Raikage a visit, she had to ask him some questions that were very important. As she headed towards the Kage's estate, her past, and all its' meaning wound through her head like a movie.

[Flashback: A week before she arrived in Kumogakure]

Laughing hysterically, Navi punches out at the person she was sparring with in the face, breaking his nose and sending blood spurting everywhere. This was the fifth person in a row she had fought, the ones from before were on the sidelines at that moment, nursing their wounds. Navi didn't know, but her mother was watching from a distance, hiding, as well as her father. They were curious to see if the rumors were true about how ruthless Navi was, and from what they had seen so far, she was just as bit as brutal and dangerous as what they had heard.

Her father steps into Navi's view calling out to her. "That's enough! I need a word with you Araehanavi." He waved to the people that were standing nearby, motioning for their dismissal, which they took happily. "What are you doing Father?! I wasn't finished!" She yelled at him, not paying attention as her mother slips away. "Yes, you are." Her Father replies. "From what I've seen, you fight quite dirty, and I think that a few days without combat would do you some good. Maybe...a week would be best. And the answer 'no' is not an option." With this said, he turns away, walking after his wife.

Navi stood there, completely in shock. No fighting or such for a week? But combat was her life! Storming the opposite direction from which her father took, she went to her room, and sits on her bed, fuming. She decides to go with what her father said, and week goes by slowly, without any fighting at all. But, the day before her punishment came to an end, things got ugly.

A man, apparently drunk, tries to grab at her, and she snaps. Creating a spear of ice in her hand, she drives its icy sharp tip into the mans chest, blood everywhere. With a devilish grin, she concentrates, and from the spear, thousands of tiny spikes fling out, making the man look like a icy hedgehog. She then leaves him there, and returns home. When her parents found out, they decided that this was the last straw, and made arrangements with the Raikage for her to move to Kumogakure. And within a few days, she arrived, and that has been where she has lived since.

[End Flashback]

She was nearing the Kage's premises, and she wanted answers. Why had he allowed her parents to move her here? Why did he allow her of all people to become a Kumo nin? And above all that, why let a murderer into the village?! She wanted answers, and she wanted them now.

Before she did this however, she decided to get a quick bite to eat, and altered her course for the Kage's mansion, and headed towards a restaurant that was close by.

Finally returning, for good hopefully, it was Kuroi the Frog of Kumo. Stuck in his ways, he was very nonchalant about returning to the village. He hadn't learnt much since he left, and he didn't feel like he would learn very much with his return. Although, one thing that he can say that was a plus is that he was capable of returning looking somewhat older. No longer a child, I do say. He wanted to go talk to the kage to see what all was going on in the village, but then again, why would he? Whoever was in charge should already know that Kuroi was in the village, and if they didn't... well tough titty. Anyways.. before he would make any final decisions on what he should do, he decided it would be best to get something eat.

It was a decent morning; the sun was shining, there were some clouds out, birds were chirping, people seemed to be at peace. These were always signs that something bad was going to happen. Kuroi was standing next to an old man at the time. The old man farted loudly. Kuroi's nose curled up, his eyes started to water, and his face began to cringe. So he wouldn't die, the Chuunin ran away! He ended up in front of a small restaurant that just so happened to be nearby to the Kage's Mansion. Even though it was close to the mansion, he still had no intentions on going to see the Kage.

He walked inside of the restaurant and went straight to the bar. Before arriving at the bar, he had reached into his pocket and felt his headband, the one he received some time ago from when he first became a Chuunin. He thought about placing it on his head, or something, but decided against it and left it inside of his pocket. He also, for once, didn't have his frog head on top of his head, so the blue haired boy probably wouldn't be recognized. He sat at the bar with his long hair draped over his face, and looked at the bartender. He requested a glass of water to drink and it was brought to him without any questions. After taking one sip of it, he sat the cup down and began to play with the rim of the glass. He was kinda in thought, but there were too many things running through his mind to specify what exactly he was thinking of. So he sat there in silence, thinking.

Still deep in thought, her hand resting on the pommel of her ice sword Aisushimou, she walks into the restaurant, and when she does, all eyes turn towards her, watching as she moves towards the bar. Sitting down on the stool, she waits for the waitress to notice her, and when she does, she smiles as the woman walks forward to ask Navi is she would like anything to eat or drink. Smiling slightly in return, she asks for a glass of iced tea, and when she turns away to get the drink, Navi looks to her side, and sees another person sitting there.

It looked as if he was deep in thought, and grinning slightly at the sight, she returns her attention to the waitress who had returned with her drink. Navi thanks the lady, and begins to drink the tea quietly. The person sitting next to Navi probably wouldn't recognize her, as she was quite new to Kumogakure. She didn't speak up however, but was curious to see how her appearance would cause him to react.

As Kuroi sat there at the bar running the tip of his finger along the rim of his glass, he had felt the presence of someone simply because they had sat right next to him. He heard them take a seat and order a drink, but he didn't really think it was a big deal. Although, what did catch his attention was her sword. He liked weapons, and that one was very unique. He used his chakra to pull strings of the water out of the cup then looked to the girl. It wasn't that hard of a technique.. As a matter of fact, it wasn't even a technique. It was just a boy playing with the water; he wasn't trying to impress anybody, he was just trying to enjoy himself. Oddly enough, this kept him pretty entertained and had began to clear his thoughts. It was the simple things that did it, the simple things that made him happy. Or at least something close to that.

He looked to the girl's sword once more, then turned his head so he was looking directly at her. A glance at her was taken, then he looked back down at his glass of water. He stopped using his chakra on it and the water just dropped back into the cup. He took another sip from it and after swallowing the water he said, "That's a really nice sword you got there. You wanna test it out?" He sat the cup down on the bar then looked at her again. His blue eye set directly towards her eyes. Yes he was asking the girl to spar, but what would her response be?

Looking over slowly to see that the guy next to her was talking, and had said something about testing out Aisushimou. Raising an eyebrow at the request, she answers slowly, "And who might you be? I don't fight people unless I learn their names...and I don't know yours. I'm Araehanavi Kazehana, of the Royal Kazehana family. And you are?" She asks, taking a sip of her tea, and unfortunately since the waitress put too much ice in the glass, her touch froze the whole thing.

"Dammit." She mutters, sighing as she glares at her now frozen solid tea. "Anyways, what do you want? I don't have time to fight you...but maybe I could spare a few moments of my time..."

Kuroi looked at the girl as she responded and it caused him to smirk. He found it funny the way that she answered, and how it was somewhat disrespectful, but he didn't really care about all that. He just found her interesting, and even more so her sword. He had a serious love for weapons, and he enjoyed taking them form the people he defeated, but he wouldn't do that with this woman he just wanted to see how she worked with the sword. He looked back down at his water, seeing it still and not moving until he gently tapped the glass with his finger. Seeing the water move and ripple, he had countless thoughts flow through his head but the main one now was that sword since it was right there.

"Trust me, if it were a fight it would be too easy." With these words, he would try to challenge the girl. He smirked and looked at the girl out of the corner of his eye to see what kind of facial expression or response she might of had. He then set the glass down on the bar and said, "By the way, you can call me Zero." He then placed some ryo on the bar for both his drink and the girl's drink, that had became frozen; she must have been an Ice user. He turned away from the bar and towards the door. He then said, "I'll be waiting outside if you want to do this. By the way, the Raikage isn't here." He then walked out of the restaurant and stood outside with his hands in his pockets. He was waiting to see if the girl would take him up on his offer to test her skills.

Rolling her eyes at his statement about how if it were a fight it would be too easy, she watches as he pays for the drinks, both his and hers. He then gets up, and says something about the Raikage not being here. She watches him leave the building, wondering if she should follow him or not. That last statement sure piqued her interest. So, she nods at the waitress, shooting a glamorous smile at her, stands up, and follows Zero out of the restaurant.

She sees him standing there, waiting, and placing her hands on her hips she asks in a somewhat demanding tone, "What do you mean the Raikage isn't here? I have very important questions that he needs to answer for me...Unless you're making this up?" With that thought, she draws Aisushimou from its sheath, pointing the glowing blue blade at Zero's chest. She sends tendrils of ice down it's shiny surface, so tendrils of icy smoke swirled above it. "You had better not be making things up, Zero."

Kuroi was the type of guy that knew how to lay bait and would usually plan before he were to make a move, but this one was kind of a spur of the moment kind of thing. Luckily for him, it worked out pretty well. The girl had came outside, just like how he was hoping that she would. The male didn't say anything to girl because the first thing she did was stand a couple meters in front of him, placed her hands on her hips, and started barking at him like a dog. She was talking in a very rude manner, and it was definitely no way to get answers from him or anyone for that matter. He looked at the girl, raising a single eyebrow in interest to what she said. He then began to wonder what she was going to ask the Raikage, but he figured it would be best if he were to ask about that later.

The male looked at the girl, and they were still standing in front of one another. She began to unsheathe her blade, and this had intrigued Kuroi because he was wondering if she would attack him or not. She then brought her blade up to point it at the Chuunin, which caused him to hop back a couple more meters. These tendrils of some sort had then formed around the blade, and this definitely wanted him to test the sword even more. "I guess there's really no way to know whether or not I'm lying.." He smirked again and brought out three kunai knives, holding each one by the handle, in his right hand. "Cause me to bleed once, and I'll tell you what I know." He then threw the three knives at the girl, each one aiming for her torso. He wasn't trying to kill the girl, but he was wondering what powers she and, more importantly, her sword possessed. This would definitely be interesting... hopefully.

Spinning the blade, she easily blocks the kunai that were sent towards her chest, sending them flying away, landing point down some distance away. Frowning, she concentrates her chakra onto her sword, causing the whole blade to be covered in ice. Even when it was fully encased, she kept adding to it, so that soon, not only it was covered, but there was a long piece sticking out from it. With this, she shoots a shock wave of wind chakra through the ice on the blade, causing the ice to splinter, making it look as if it were covered in a layer of icy needles.

Swinging the blade horizontally, she sends a few of theses 'needles' flying towards Zero, not only to try and to impale him, but to make a barrier. The slightest brush of one of these icy needles against your skin, and you'll be cut up like a razor. The sword glows even brighter as she does this. She then makes a vertical slash, this time the ice was sent directly towards the boy, flying through the air at an incredible speed. At the range they were towards each other, it would be pretty hard for Zero to dodge both attacks.

As soon as the girl deflected the kunai knives, Kuroi had made a quick set of handseals so that he could perform himself a nice little jutsu so that he could do some fancy shit. When he finished his handseals, the three blades had impaled the ground around him. Two of them were to the left and right of him, at least two feet from him, and the other was a foot in front of him. Good thing they didn't hit him or else he would have had some other shit he would have had to take care, like nursing himself back to health; or going to see Neo, wherever the hell he was. No time to worry about that, Kuroi was in the middle of a battle, or something, and he couldn't waste time trying to figure out where old comrades were. Maybe later.

When the girl started to make her sword more deadly, Kuroi had ran towards her. He picked up the kunai that was directly in front of her, and when she attacked, he disappeared only to leave an afterimage of him in his place. The afterimage had took all the heat from her attack, so basically Kuroi wasn't harmed. The technique he used would be known as the "Body Flicker Technique." The shinobi was now standing behind the girl and he launched the kunai at her again, this time aiming for her shoulder; this was just in case she wasn't able to dodge it, it wouldn't do any serious damage. Immediately as the kunai was released from his hand, he did three handseals and ended with one, holding the single handseal. That handseal just so happened to be the Tiger handseal. As he held this seal he wondered what the girl would do next and if this battle would end as soon as he believed it would.

The needles miss their target, only hitting a afterimage of Zero, flying through him, dissipating the image. He appears behind her, and throws a kunai at her shoulder, which she easily deflects, bringing her sword behind her so that the kunai bounces off with the sound of metal against metal. With a swift movement, she spins around to face Zero, her sword gaining momentum as her body turns, so that a faint whistling could be heard as the sword slices through the air, its icy blade aimed for Zero's midsection.

Navi was a very skilled sword user, one of the few of her fellow Kazehana who could wield a sword. And Aisushimou was a special blade, one she had forged herself. Once more she swings the sword, sending another shower of icy needles towards Zero. She swings it in a full circle around her, turning and turning, one rotation after the other; her body turning with the movement of the sword, sending a full circumfrance of icy sharp needles flying around her. With this, it would be near impossible to get close, as with each turn, thousands of needles fly out around her.

"What a shitty week..." mutters the young blonde haired kunochi by the name of Kasuga Yuki. So many different things occurred this week, none of which have been good. She never even got to rest from this disaster, her body ached and her mind was tired. At this moment she just wanted to sleep and eat some Mochi, maybe a burger or something. After the woman left the hospital, she decided to grab a quick bite before going home to sleep for a full day. To her surprise the royal Yuki member, Navi, was fighting some guy she'd never met, but seen around. Navi and her met a while ago and had been on speaking terms for a while, Kasuga was constantly making passes at her, which probably will work on day. The relationship between the two tickled Kasuga, because she was known throughout the world as "The Ice Princess" while Navi literally was a Princess. Of course those were just titles, and respect had to be earned through combat and examples. In this case Navi was trying to prove her worth against this Chuunin guys, of course Kasuga didn't feel like seeing this. With a powerful clap of her hands, a large amount of wind would rush towards both fighters with force. Enough to knock the ice needles away and knock Navi's sword attack a little of course, all while leaving Zero off balanced so he couldn't finish his hand seals.

"Hey... no reason to fight you two, in this time we all need to come together. Of course if y'all still have animosity, you're welcome to try taking it out on me, Kasuga Yuki the "Freezing Oni." But I'll warn you, I'm not in the mood."

Kasuga says with her slight grin. Of course she was partially joking, but indeed the woman was tired. Her emotions were all over the place and head cloudy, hopefully the two can peacefully calm down and probably grab a meal with her.

The last thing anyone wanted to do was to step into a fight. Especially random fights. They weren't your ordinary fights when you met the fat tubbo bully in front of the school at the flag post come 3:15. Naw this was a random fight. Some fights were better left unattended to and ignored, while others you jump into. Maybe you knew the fighter? Maybe you're doing it for the shits and giggles. Or maybe you're just stoned beyond recognition and looking for a pillow to drop on. Zancrow wasn't in the mood for fighting or anything like that. Dude was only strolling along with his hood on, looking a lot like an Aburame clansman lost.

The somewhat ordinary Yuki strolled around the bend and came across quite the spectacle. Apparently, Navi was here with some other people. The blonde woman more than likely had stopped the fight that was more than likely about to wreck shit up. Zancrow's golden eyes glowed as they always did, making some bystanders look back a second time as opposed to a mere first glance. His height was towering nonetheless, and his appearance always seemed scary or disturbing. He yawned, revealing his sharpened canines and stretched before slowly making his way to the group.

The blonde woman was apparently Yuki, stating her name to be obvious. Zancrow's last name made sure people wouldn't know he was a Yuki as well, but with his past of murdering his aunt and abusive uncle many would easily know from his dim-lit glowing gold eyes and smooth black hair. He scratched his head and simply sat down on an abandoned stool, hoping no one would pay him much mind. He decided to just play spectator unless asked questions.

And quite frankly, questions didn't seem that bad.

The hands and tentacles will eventually squeeze the opponent to the point where they pass out in their mind which will make them pass out in reality, and they will stay this way for five posts, not being able to feel anything. Unfortunately, the user must hold the Tiger seal until the opponent is caught in the Genjutsu, or else they'll have to start over again and it will consume just as much chakra as the first time they started.

Oh, and KidBushido, you shouldn't know that I'm from Kumo. I don't have on my headband or a flak jacket. kthnxbai.

Now to continue the fun.))

IC: This was supposed to be something simple, something fun, something that would test the skills of that girl and her sword. Sucks that other people had to interfere. After the girl had blocked the kunai that was thrown at her, he jumped back a few meters, still holding the same handseal. He avoided the slashing that was made towards him, easily, because when it was made, Kuroi wasn't close enough to be hit by the sword. The girl then laid eyes on him and she was caught in the Genjutsu. As she was getting caught in the jutsu, it had seemed as someone else was entering into their battle zone. As the girl had stood there, in reality, motionless, a second girl had entered the battle zone that was ranged to be twenty meters and unfortunately, she was caught in the Genjutsu too. So she was standing there, still and motionless all before she could even use her technique against the two shinobis fighting. Kuroi had looked around and saw the girl just standing there and immediately thought, Oh shit, caught someone in my jutsu. woops. He couldn't release the technique either, cause then he would have more to deal with.

As he stood their holding the seal, he had seen another person move towards the battle zone, who just so happened to catch Kuroi's attention. He was starting to feel bad for these people. These silly ninjas just popped up out of nowhere, just to get knocked out. The boy, whoever he was, sitting there was just outside of the battle zone, so he didn't get caught inside of the Genjutsu. Lucky him, but Kuroi did have the two girls in the jutsu. The two females were standing there with a dazed look in their faces. This sucked for them. Oh well. Time to keep up the illusion for those caught in it.

In the mind of the three that were caught in the Genjutsu, they would see this: the Ice Release user would have tried attacking Kuroi as well as the second girl that appeared, but a large black figure would appear behind Kuroi. The figure was large, towering at about 15 feet, and was very lanky. It would quickly stretch two tentacles from its back to block both attacks from the females, and would then continue to wrap itself around the two of them at an incredible speed; a speed so fast that they wouldn't be able to avoid it, react, or counter-attack. This creature that had it's tentacles wrapped around them would also be unaffected by any kind of attack or chakra they would "make". With both of them in his grasp, the slender being had showed its white faceless face, and a bloody jaw had ripped open to form its mouth. It let out a roar then would squeeze them to the point where they would pass out.

As soon as the two kunoichi had passed out in their minds, Kuroi had watched each one of them fall over in reality; this actually had happened in a matter of seconds. He sighed in relief now that the battle was over, but unfortunately they would be stuck in this unconscious state for a while (my fifth post after this one). Kuroi released the seal since it was no longer needed. He looked to the boy that was observing and said loud enough for him to hear, "Do you mind helping me move these bodies out of the middle of the road?" He picked up Navi and her sword, and placed them off against the side of a building so they wouldn't just be laying in the road. He then sat down on the ground two feet in front of her, so he could rest. He then said to the male, "You don't need to be alarmed or anything like that, I'm from here." He said that just in case he was wondering. Kuroi then began to relax, and would hopefully have a decent conversation with this other guy that was here.

(OOC: Well to let those in the posts know now, I am deleting my Navi character, so this little 'spar' is officially over. Please don't get pissy or mad, I'm just not feeling it with this character. Later!)

There was always something about genjutsu that made Zancrow interestingly terrified and amazed. The simple fact that you can mind trick someone so severe that they receive actual physical trauma and pass out made genjutsu somewhat appealing to Zancrow. He himself uses genjutsu, but he can't do anything as severe or amazing as this kid who seemingly dispatched the two Yuki. He helped Kasuga and Navi to the side, holding Navi in his lap and cradled her. He kept Kasuga nearby in case she sprang awake, but he knew the genjutsu would keep the two down for a while. He kissed her forehead and looked over to Kasuga and tilted his head.

"Uhh, I believe the genjutsu was a tad overboard, don't you think? Anyways, I'm not the one to judge, I just got here. And you'd lock your own fellow Kumo-nin within a genjutsu? Dude… it's not worth it. You don't have to listen to my rambling anyways. I'm Zancrow, a Genin of course. Hopefully I'll amount to something in the coming future, but knowing my "Give 0 Fucks" rule I'll laugh to see me get to something like Jounin rank. You my friend know how to use genjutsu. What's your name?"

Zancrow decided to keep both cradled under his arms, knowing he'd most likely get slapped across the face. Just leaving two girls slumped on the roadside seemed dumb and unmannerly to Zancrow. He made sure they were in some comfy position under his arms and then looked back to the genjutsu kid.

((One could assume you to be Kumo because unless you're new to the village, Kasuga should have seen you around. Also don't assume I'm looking directly at you, my wind attack was aimed at both ninja, I can't look at both of you at once so obviously my attention is in the middle.))

What began as Kasuga trying to peacefully stop a battle had evolved into this random guy trying to trap people into Genjutsu. Literally the only thing the woman wanted to do was sit down with some fellow shinobi and talk about the Raikage's death and try to salvage this week, but naw... fate had different plans. The wind palm technique hit both users, and as stated ((

would leave zero unable to continue his jutsu. The wind palm has enough force to injure a body, disrupting someone during a jutsu is simple. His genjutsu is rendered useless would leave Navi awake and Kasuga somehow pissed. She didn't know this man, but she could tell there was something she didn't like about him. Maybe the fact that the guy decided to fight Navi in a crowded area annoyed her. Navi was a hothead but Kasuga knows her, and understands this. She knows nothing of this gentleman here, but she does know she wants to punch him in the face. Of course she can't go all out in the middle of a crowded area... so instead she forms a single sign which allows her to sense everything around her, and begins heading home to sleep. She senses someone familiar behind and turns. It was Zancrow, she smiles and whispers something to him while leaving.((me you and Navi already know each other IC -_-))

"The Raikage is dead..." she then disappears trying to get home and finally rest.

The wind that Kasuga produced knocks her, her ice needles, and Zero off balance, preventing the attacks from hitting each other. Frowning slightly, she looks over at Kasuga, wondering what she wanted. Then another presence could be felt, and soon enough, Zancrow shows up, just as Kasugo is getting ready to leave. She saw Kasuga whisper something to him, and being really good at lip-reading, sees her tell Zancrow that the Raikage...was dead.

Shock shoots through her body, and everything inside her went limp. Dead? The Raikage? No way, she had so many questions to ask him, so many things she needed to clear up. There was no possible way in hell that the Raikage was dead, now of all times. But the look on Kasuga's face, as she walked away, said differently.

Dropping to her knees, the ice one her sword dissipating so that it was just her blade, she knelt on the ground. She was in shock, this was not good...she needed to have those questions answered, and only the Raikage would be able to answer them fully. Slowly, she shakes her head, her eyebrows crinkled and her emerald green eyes glowing ice blue. She wouldn't believe that he was dead...not just yet anyways.

After a few moments, she stands up, and walks away, with a blank expression on her face.

Zancrow simply watched as Kasuga ended the otherwise meaningless brawl in its infant stages and remained afar, clapping softly with enough force that only he could hear it clearly. And... since Kasuga was back that meant the little scuffle in Kiri was over for the most part. Navi and the other shinobi were sent back by the wind blast, Zancrow flinching a bit at that. He knew they'd be well enough and not injured very badly, so he turned around to leave for home before Kasuga approached him and whispered in his ear.

"The Raikage is dead..."

"That's a bummer. Tell me more later."

Navi and I are obviously close enough where she is capable of swinging a sword towards me and I have to jump back to dodge it.

That's pure idiocy. Because we're close enough, you're gonna see me, and you're attacking both of us, so if your attack is gonna hit both of us, we both need to be in your view unless your aiming blindly, but you're not.

Secondly, the handseal you tried to "stop" was finished before Navi even turned around to attack, so your timing is off.
This is the first action.

Secondly, the handseal you tried to "stop" was finished before Navi even turned around to attack, so your timing is off.

In order to hit you both why would I focus an attack on one person instead of an area where both are visible I.E. peripheral vision. UNLESS YOU WANNA DEBATE ABOUT THAT, but would make no fucking sense.
