Ski Uchiha, has healed completely from the damage taken during his last mission with Ashi and Aomaru. Ski decided he wanted to get to know his team mate more. So he decided to invite her to a get together at the roof hokage's office, that sat directly underneath the carved heads of past hokages.
Ski sat on the railing of the roof, over looking the large village. As he viewed the village he thought about what his team mates motives might be, to become a shinobi. Ski has never really shared his goals in life, but was always curious on every one else's. He seemed to be a little nervous, he was never one to casually talk to people. He didn't have many friends and normally just spoke with people when felt needed. A known attitude for Uchiha blood. Ski looked up at the sun that sat high in the sky, with a couple of small whispy clouds passing through it, while doing so, Ski said aloud to him self; "Where could Ashi and Aomaru be? They . . . I don't think they'd ditch me." Ski bite his bottom lip and thought about the idea that he might have been forgotten after waiting about a hour.
He then looked back at the over view of the village and decided to wait just a couple more moments for Ashi and Aomaru.

Ashi gasped as she woke up late on this particular day. She rushed to get ready and Aomaru was quick to do the same. They both ran out of their house and headed to the meeting place. They had been invited by Ski to talk and to just act like friends and not just comrades. The fact that she overslept was not something she approved of and she put all speed. She growled and held up one hand sign before she dropped to all fours.

With this clan technique of hers she moved even faster. The pair made their way to the Hokage's Office roof. They were quick to get up there. Once Ashi saw Ski waiting she got up and dusted off her hands smiling as she walked towards him "H-hey Ski. Sorry we're late. We over slept. We just finished helping an old farmer and we were exhausted." She walked over and sat down next to him "I do hope you'll forgive us for our tardiness." As she sat down she suddenly got an idea "Oh yeah. Apparently war has started. Do you think they'll let Genin Like us participate?"

Ski glanced over at Ashi as she arrived. He smiled gently in a sense of amusement. "It's fine, no biggie." Ski claimed in a very friendly voice. Ski seemed to have lowered all guards that he usually carries with him and seemed comfortable. He stretched sitting next to Ashi, with his hands raising to the sky. He then stood up, after releasing a long drawn out yawn. He took a couple steps forward and looked up at the hokages heads. With Ashi sitting behind him.
When she mentioned the out break of war, he closed his eyes during her words and then opened them, stilling looking up at the hokages heads after her sentence.
"I heard." Ski then turned and looked at Ashi with a serious look. His purple eyes piercing the air between them. "War is just futile. We meet, we kill, we leave. . ." Ski paused for a couple moments and then turned back, facing the hokages wall. He then continued his sentence in a less harsh tone. "We battle, because of the humans wants and needs. . This country needs more land, this country wants more control. . . " Ski tightened his fist. "They're all the same. I'll gladly involve myself in the war if needed for my land. But, I won't agree in most of the reasons will explore such burdened things."
It was obvious Ski had some type of harsh connection with war that drew him away from it. The air grew with tension after Ski's explanation of his thoughts. Some thing was up.

Ashi smiled and nodded her head as Ski did seem to be far more relaxed and even more sociable than he normally was. This was either a sign that he was more comfortable around her, or that he was at least able to relax when not on a mission, but either way it was a nice thing to see. Aomaru was even more relaxed around him testifying to just how at ease Ski seemed to be.

When he spoke of the impending war, and the way he talked about it both Ashi and Aomaru could feel the tension thicken in the air and they could feel that he was on edge. Ashi stood up and walked over to his side gently touching his shoulder "Hey Ski, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up something so harsh, but are you alright? Something deeper seems to be on your mind." Aomaru walked up next to his partner and looked over at the Uchiha with interest, but not wariness.

Ski shook his head and seemed to come back to his senses from his speech when Ashi touched his shoulder. Ski continued to look at the hokages wall with great determination. When she asked if he was okay, he just nodded his head slightly, still clenching his fist.
The gentle winds of the leaf came from the east as Ski and his partner stood next to each other. Ski watched the hokage wall for quite a moment in deep thought. His eyes studying the wall. It was obvious he had many thoughts rushing through his mind, just from his silence. After a couple moments pass, he looked over to Ashi with a calm face, stared at her for a moment and asked; "Ashi. . What do you want to do with your life?" Ski seemed to be very curious onto what his team mates goals were in life.
He never did explain what his deeper connection was with war, but he obviously had no desire to go into deeper conversation with it. The grip on his fist began to weaken as he became more calm. The air became less tense and more calm.
After Ski, asked Ashi the question of what her goal in life is, he looked up at the blue sky, as a couple of brown birds flew by in a flock. The sound of their chirping interrupting the silence between Ski and Ashi.

Ashi watched him and she could smell his increased blood flow, and also his rise in hormone levels, he clearly wasn't okay but she wasn't going to press it further.

When the wind blew Ashi's hair slowly blew with it and the way it was blowing she finally had a softer and more feminine like appearance so when Ski looked at her he saw it. She didn't look at him as he asked her what she wanted to do she knew it was a deflection to get away from his own troubles but she would allow it. She shrugged her shoulders "To be honest. I just want to be the best ninja I can be. My family has a reputaion to uphold, it might not be anything near as impressive as your clan, the Hyugas, or even the Uzumaki clan, but We do have a name. I don't want to tarnish that name, but...at the same time I want to be so strong that I can afford to relax and be a bit more laid back." She looked over at her partner smiling softly the smile again looking more feminine than normal "What about you Ski? What are your plans for your future?"

Ski smiled and chuckled a little from Ashi claiming she would like to relax a little. "Relax, huh? That seems nice." Ski continued to smile, interested in every word Ashi expressed. Once Ashi asked what Ski wanted to do with his life, he turned a walked towards the railing of the roof that over looked the leaf village. Stopping at the railing, he paused and thought in his head on what to say. After a moment of thinking, Ski put both of his hands in his pockets and looked up at the sky.
"I. . I want to create the world a-new." Ski paused in his sentence, to turn and look at Ashi with a smile,"And I'll do whatever it takes to do so." Ski's smiled greeted Ashi as he spoke. It was obvious that he didn't mean any of this in an evil way, but has shown in the past by many shinobi. Ninja that normally fallow such a path, normally lead a life of hate. Even if they didn't initially plan on starting that way.
Ski's eye's made direct contact with Ashi after finishing his sentence, "I'll be a better leader than any hokage, raikage, mizukage, or any other. I'll change every thing. . . For the better."
Ski gave off a some what ominous feeling, even if he didn't mean too. He defiantly carried a uchiha attitude though. After explaining his goal, he smiled at Ashi and then turned again, facing the village.

Ashi looked over at him when he chuckled her face in slight confusion and slight irritation, but she quickly let it slide as she felt Aomaru nuzzle his muzzle against her hand. She stroked his head softly as he wanted attention. When Ski turned and walked towards the railing Ashi stayed where she was and watched him. When he spoke his dream Ashi's eyes widened slightly.

She smiled back at him but in her mind the wheels were turning. She knew well that in the past shinobi who thought like this especially Uchiha had always ended up doing far more harm to the world than good, and that was something dangerous in and of itself. She would have to keep a close eye on Ski to make sure he kept on the straight and narrow. Ashi's eyes made contact with Ski's and she held his gaze again her more canine instincts refusing to let her look away from him. When he finished Ashi shivered slightly at the ominous feeling he gave off.

However, for now he was still her partner and she depended on him to keep her alive. She walked over to him and leaned on the railing "Well that is some dream I must say. I will keep you on the straight and narrow though. This dream of yours usually doesn't end well. So please be careful Ski." She looked out over the village and frowned slightly "Well it seems it's gotten later than we thought. We should head home." she leaned over and gently pat him on the back "I'll see you around partner." She said before she and Aomaru leapt off of the building headed towards their home.
